After careful consideration and research, our Finance Commission has agreed to introduce an additional opportunity to make donations to our parish by using electronic funds transfer. We have partnered with Parish Giving to offer this program to our parishioners, or anyone who would like to make a contribution to our parish. We believe it to be convenient and secure for both you and our Parish. The online giving enables you, the user:
To get started, simply click on the Parish Giving logo below and follow the easy registration instructions. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Bryce Ackerman by phone at (620) 408-8464 or by e-mail at
The Finance Commission is excited to have the ability to offer the convenience of electronic transactions for the benefit of both you and our Parish. We also want to stress the contribution envelope and collection basket routine will continue as we are currently doing. The electronic transfer is an additional option that can be utilized to make donations to our parish - or maybe a combination of both methods will be of most benefit to you.
We hope you will take a few minutes of your time to enroll in the electronic Parish Giving opportunity. Once again, we would like to emphasize that you personally maintain full control over your account so you can change or adjust your offering in any way needed as well as the point that nobody at our church has any access to your secure information. At home or away from home, your stewardship contributions can now become easily managed!

The Melkite Greek Catholic Church is an Eastern Catholic church based in Damascus. Bishop Nicholas Samra, who ministers to Melkite Greek Catholics in the US, cited the “great attraction to Eastern spirituality ... People join us because they feel the comfort of an Eastern tradition in America. More than half of my clergy have no Middle Eastern roots.”
Earlier this year, former seminarians accused Auxiliary Bishop Juan José Pineda Fasquelle of sexual misconduct. The bishop was governing the Archdiocese of Tegucigalpa as Cardinal Oscar Rodriguez Maradiaga received cancer treatment.
Cardinal Leonardo Sandri, prefect of the Congregation for the Eastern Churches, reflected on the Pope’s July 7 meeting with the heads of the churches and Christian communities of the Middle East.
